Client Accountant (Fixed Term - 9 months)

We are currently looking for an Client Accountant to join Bourse Trust Company Limited, on a fixed term basis of 9 months, where we provide private wealth services covering family office, trusts, employee benefit trusts, foundations and company management.  We also provide individual and company pension administration services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing client files to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, thereby supporting our commitment to excellence and risk management.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements for client entities;

  • Review of financial statements for client entities

  • Preparation of financial statements and various associated reports to be sent to Tax Reporting Agents to enable tax computation and Tax Return to be completed;

  • Review of Tax Return and computation received from Tax Reporting Agents to ensure accuracy

  • Preparation of loan-interest statements;

  • Provide solvency information to administration teams when dividends are to be declared;

  • Review/prepare ad hoc financial information required by the administration teams;

  • Liaising with external authorities / third parties as necessary and dealing with internal / external queries re. accounting records;

  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks as required.

Skills, knowledge, expertise

  • Previous experience as a Trust & Company Client Accountant is essential.

  • ACCA/ACA qualification, or study towards, preferred.

  • Previous knowledge of 5-Series preferred.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
