Client File Reviewer
With continued growth across the Bourse Group, we’re always on the lookout for bright individuals to join the team and we are currently looking for an Client File Reviewer to join Bourse Trust Company Limited, where we provide private wealth services covering family office, trusts, employee benefit trusts, foundations and company management. We also provide individual and company pension administration services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing client files to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, thereby supporting our commitment to excellence and risk management.
Key responsibilities
File Review and Analysis:
Conduct thorough periodic and ongoing reviews of client files to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Identify and document any discrepancies or areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting trust and fiduciary services.
Ensure all client documentation, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements, are complete and accurate.
Reporting:
Prepare detailed reports on file reviews, summarising findings and suggesting improvements.
Ensure accurate logging of all action points required following the review in the relevant location within the system.
Communicate results to senior management and provide insights for enhancing compliance processes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with client facing teams and other departments to resolve compliance issues and enhance client service.
Participate in training and development initiatives to promote compliance awareness within the company.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal policies and procedures.
Identify trends and potential risks in client files and recommend strategies for improvement.
Skills, knowledge, expertise
Previous experience in a compliance, trust and company administration, auditing, or file review role within the trust or financial services sector.
STEP or equivalent qualification
Detailed understanding of Guernsey regulations relating to trusts and fiduciary services.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
